DR. SOMI KIM
Dr. Somi Kim received her Bachelors degree in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Kim is a TPA (Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent) certified optometrist, who is trained not only to give you the best contact lens fitting and eyeglasses prescription, but is also trained to diagnose and treat most eye diseases. Dr. Kim is also certified and experienced to fit overnight orthokeratology contact lenses. These lenses are designed to correct your vision while you sleep.

Dr. Kim's examination includes testing for routine vision problems and eye health problems, including glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, dry eye, and more. Dr. Kim received training in foreign body removal, lacrimal dilation and irrigation, and pre- and postoperative management in cataract, glaucoma, pterygium, pinguecula, and refractive surgeries. She enjoys providing complete eye care for all ages.

Dr. Kim makes it her goal for every patient to experience a thorough eye exam and to be thoroughly educated about his/her eyes and vision.

Our staff and opticians are thoroughly trained and knowledgeable in all aspects of the optical field, including selecting frames that best suit the patient's face and style, recommending the appropriate lens and lens options, repairing eye glasses and sunglasses, and fabricating spectacles in plastic, metal, and rimless frames.
